Yuja Wang

Piano | Yuja Wang plays Ligeti 2025-2026

There are master pianists, there are world-class performers – and there is Yuja Wang, whose superhuman virtuoso musicality puts her in a category of her own. ‘Five stars are not enough for Yuja Wang’, a disbelieving yet enraptured critic once wrote in Dutch newspaper Trouw. Anyone who has heard her play cannot fail to agree wholeheartedly that Yuja Wang is sensational. Sparks flew straight away on her debut with our orchestra in April 2018; and in 2021 / 2022 this unmatched soloist was our passionate Artist in Residence. Fasten your seat belts – here comes Yuja Wang!
