"Shostakovich's Seventh is my favorite concerto of course. For contrabassoonists, Shostakovich's symphonies are always a pleasure to play. He uses the contrabassoon, with its deep and resonant tone, to give shape to his preference for dark, somber and threatening timbres. In his music, the contrabassoon is not only intended for bass foundations, but also to evoke a sinister or melancholic atmosphere. This is especially clear to hear in this Seventh."

When ordering a series
Yes, there is. Via this link you can view manuals for creating an online account, ordering a series online and ordering a flex series online.
If you order 4 concerts or more, you can order a flex series. You will then receive a 15% discount on the single ticket price. If you want to order tickets for less than 4 concerts or just one single concert, you can do so from Tuesday 20 May 2025 10 am.
If you are unable to order online, you can contact our Customer Service by telephone on 010 322 53 22 (Mon-Fri 10am-4pm). Unfortunately there is no possibility to come by. If you are unable to reach our Customer Service by telephone, you can also email your question to info@rpho.nl.
