There are various ways to order tickets for concerts by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra:

Payment information
Tickets for the concerts of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra can be paid with iDEAL, credit card, PayPal or Podium Cadeaukaart.
15% discount if you purchase tickets for four or more concerts
The unlimited freedom of choice offered by single tickets, combined with the reduced price of a concert series: that's what you get with a Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra Flex series. A Flex series is when you order tickets for four or more concerts. You will then benefit from a discount of 15% off the price of single tickets. In addition, you are ensured of the best available seats.
Service and shipping costs
The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra charges €1 per ticket for service costs, which is necessary to cover the costs associated with making your concert tickets (technically) possible. This includes costs such as our website, our ticket system, our customer service, the cash registers and scanners in the Doelen etc. In addition, we charge €4.50 per order if you wish to receive printed tickets to cover the costs of producing and sending these tickets. We do not charge sending costs for an order with e-tickets.
Seating plan
Most of the concerts of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra take place in the Grote Zaal of De Doelen. Click here to see a seating plan of our concert hall.
Please note: the number of available seats and the layout of the tiers in the hall can differ from the seating plan above. When you order tickets for a concert online, you will always see the right seating plan when you choose your seats.
General terms and conditions
Our general terms and conditions are applicable to all our products and services.
Exchanging tickets
If you are unable to attend a concert, you will be able to exchange your tickets up to two working days before the date of that concert. We charge costs of €2 per ticket (with a maximum of €10), plus or minus any price difference between the tickets. Our terms and conditions are set out below.
- Costs: €2 per ticket (with a maximum of €10) +/- the difference in ticket price;
- Tickets may be exchanged up to two working days before the date of the concert in question;
- Applies only to tickets for concerts by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra;
- You will receive a voucher for the value of the tickets to be exchanged or you can use this amount to immediately find tickets for other concerts by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra;
- Tickets may be exchanged via the customer service of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra or at the box office of De Doelen (not during concert evenings);
- Administration costs will not be refunded with the refund of ticket prices;
- The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra reserves the right to exclude certain concerts during the season from the provisions governing exchange of tickets.
A voucher is valid up to 24 months following the issue date (the issue date is printed on the ticket). After this period the right to the value of the voucher is lost.
Lost ticket(s)
If you lose a ticket, you can request a duplicate from the customer service of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. We will charge €1.50 for the cost of a duplicate ticket.
Young persons’ rate
People up to 30 years old can order tickets at the young persons' rate of €15 for tiers 2, 3 and 4. If you have purchased tickets at the young persons' rate, please remember to always bring a valid ID to prove your age when visiting the concert.
Group discount
Groups of twenty or more are eligible for a group discount. To find out the conditions for the group discount and to make bookings, please contact the customer service of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Gift card
Whether you are looking for a gift for a birthday, wedding, Christmas or similar holiday, whatever the occasion you are assured of a unique gift. Give someone the gift of a special concert experience with a gift card from the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. The joy of giving, the joy of receiving!
When you order tickets you can cash in your gift card or voucher (valid for a period of two years) by inputting the voucher code. The value of the voucher will be deducted from the ticket price.
