Public rehearsals
You can visit a number of free public rehearsals in the 2025-2026 season.
In the 2025-2026 season, you can once again attend several public rehearsals. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere while getting a sneak preview of one of the upcoming concerts, and watch how the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra prepares with a different conductor each time. The public rehearsals are free to attend, begin at 12:30 PM in the Grote Zaal of De Doelen in Rotterdam (free seating), and last half an hour. No prior registration is required. The doors open 15 minutes before the start.

Come to this lunch concert where young people take centre stage. The Rotterdam Youth Symphony Orchestra will play Side by Side with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by conductor Giedre Slekyte, an experience the young musicians will never forget. The programme includes parts of Schubert's Unvollendete.
