Breakfast concert on a Sunday morning.
Hopping on a plane for a short vacation is something many people don’t do as quickly anymore. And why would you, when you can travel crisscross through Europe in one breakfast concert without leaving your seat? Hugo Wolf is our guide in Italy, Sebastian Fagerlund sails us to Denmark, together with Luigi Boccherini we wander through Madrid, and finally, we end up at a Polish celebration with Alfred Schnittke. A pause for breath along the way is provided by Entr’acte by Caroline Shaw: an enchanting moment of calm and a highlight of this trip.
♪ Included in the ticket price is a small breakfast: coffee/tea, juice, a croissant, fresh fruit, and a rotating breakfast item.
♪ The doors open at 9:15 am. Breakfast will be cleared away at 10:15 am.
♪ The concert starts at 10:30 am and lasts about an hour.
