Lucerne Festival
Two days after the BBC Proms, the orchestra will appear in Lucerne for the Lucerne Festival. Together with star violinist Lisa Batiashvili, they will present a program inspired by water.
At the end of August, internationally renowned orchestras move from summer festival to summer festival, and the Rotterdam Philharmonic is also in attendance. Two days after the BBC Proms, the orchestra will appear in Lucerne for the Lucerne Festival. Festival star Lisa Batiashvili will perform Mozart's Violin Concerto in A Major with us. Mendelssohn's Meeresstille und glückliche Fahrt (Calm Sea and Prosperous Voyage) and Debussy's La Mer will then take us to the sea. There's no better way to end the summer.
